Second week into my third third trimester. So far, I’ve liked and needed about the same thing for each pregnancy once I’m in the final stretch. I think almost everyone could agree that once you reach 26-27 weeks, you start to actually need certain things to help make you comfortable. If I could only pick one product to have during my third trimester, and just use everything else that I’d normally use outside of pregnancy for the other “problems” and “uncomfortableness” that comes with that last trimester, I’d choose my pregnancy pillow over and over…
For the past week, we’ve been lucky enough to try out SoundBub. We have Ollie the Owl, but they come in a few different animals. It’s a portable white noise machine/speaker. Where ever we go, he goes too. You can attach it to a carseat, an Ergo, a high chair, prop it on the table or ground, or just place it near your child.Hazel is a relatively easy going baby, but the one thing she needs help with is falling asleep, so I was beyond excited to give SoundBub a try. It comes with two soothing…
Spring calls for lots of denim…in multiple colors! I love a nice denim top. It’s a great neutral to pair with all the other fun colors you’ll be wearing, and light weight. And when you find one with pretty details, it instantly becomes a favorite in your closet. This denim tank button up from Pink Blush is just that! It’s longer in the back, so it’s great to pair with leggings, has a slight fade in it, and has the cutest lace detailing on the bottom. And y’all, I know I talk about nursing…
It’s here! It happens the same day every year, and yet it’s such a day to rejoice when it actually happens! Because on March 20th, we know that even if it’s still snowing, warmth is just around the corner. I like to treat the first day of spring like a holiday. Buy some flowers for the house. Go on a walk in flip flops and no jacket. Maybe start putting sweaters away. Take a look in my bathing suit drawer. Perhaps, go on a casual run/walk to feel like I’m getting in shape for shorts…
I’m seeing blush everywhere this season! It’s everyone’s favorite shoe, top, pair of pants, accessory, and bag. And I have to say…I’m in that crowd. It’s such a sweet color and it’s a great neutral. Blush is such a nice change from the winter black (not that spring is taking my black from me), and a better transition color than just tan.I can’t think of one skin tone that it doesn’t compliment and look good on. And this zipper blouse from Pink Blush is a great staple piece to start…
When I first had Hallen, I was super nervous to nurse in public. I mean…when you’re a first time mom, you never know what the heck you’re doing. You especially don’t know what you’re doing when you’re trying to hide under a cover, lift your shirt up discretely, and make your newborn with a bobble head try to nurse. I had so much anxiety! I don’t think I nursed in public for AT LEAST two months. A couple months in, I found my favorite thing ever! The Undercover Mama tank. I bought three…
One of my favorite new things that we’ve gotten for Hazel is our Trendy Cover from Trendy Treehouse. I was able to customize the fabrics from their big selection, and make it something that I love. Right now, I’m using it as a carseat cover and a nursing cover. These were some of my first few days home, so it was a no makeup kind of week, but my nursing game is definitely strong! I’m much more confident this time around, and I love this nursing cover. Its soft material, and it doesn’t make me hot…
When you’re waiting on you’re baby to be born (who should have been here by now if she was on Hallen’s schedule), you go anywhere and everywhere to distract yourself! So, for me that’s usually shopping or walking around downtown. This outfit from Ingrid and Isabel is perfect for just going out and about, but feeling cute still (and not like a whale at 9 months). And I know I don’t look that big…everyone tells me I’m still so small, BUT it doesn’t change the fact that I feel like I have…
