I still can’t believe we have three little girls! It’s been such a whirlwind of the last month with our Disney trip, Hallen’s birthday, new baby, Thanksgiving, and preparing for Christmas! But with everything going on, I wanted to let you guys know about PinkBlush’s BIGGEST SALE OF THE SEASON! Use code CYBERMONDAY to receive up to 60% off the entire site. You know I LOVE their clothes, so I wanted to give you a heads up that now is the time to stock up or grab a few pieces for your friends and family.{And…
There’s nothing I love more than the holidays. Once those cooler temps set in with the fall season, I’m ready to start decorating and shopping for Christmas! And honestly, we probably decorate our home sooner than most people like, but I just like that warm, cozy feeling, cinnamon smelling, family loving spirit! And if you don’t want to see my decor until after Thanksgiving, you don’t have to come over for the first three weeks of November! With all of that said, I also like to start thinking about what’s going to make the best…
I’ve made it! Nearly 38 weeks. Just back from Disney where we walked around the world at least 10 times over, ate our weight in Uncrustables that we packed for snacks, and rode rides until our heart’s content. I thought all of that joy and exercise would have sent me straight into labor when we got home, but it hasn’t. But, it’s probably for the best since we haven’t done anything for this kid. Like nothing. I’m actually glad I needed to take a photo of “hospital bag packed” to make me pack something…
My heart is still racing just typing this out. My mind is flowing with the what ifs and could have beens. This post won’t have any pretty photos and possibly not even thoughts that are strung together well, but it had to come out, so I could try to get all of this out of my head.If you know me, you know that I try to keep every situation as un-heated as possible. I’m not one to cause a big scene or even tell someone off if I think they did something to offend me. I…
We started swim lessons with Aqua Tots Ballantyne back in April (you can read about that here). I was so excited to get both girls into the lessons before our pool officially opened. And seriously within a couple weeks, Hallen had confidence I had never seen her have in the water before. Bath times became a breeze and another way to explore water for her. She wasn’t afraid of getting water in her eyes when we rinsed her hair out. And I know that’s a struggle for so many of us! That darn shampoo rinsing! Such a struggle…
This past weekend was a lot of rain, a little bit of wind, and lots of family time. We had so many friends and family check in on us during Hurricane Florence, which made us feel so loved. I always kind of love gearing up for a big weather event (besides tornadoes…those just drop down out of nowhere…and growing up some in Oklahoma, I hate those green, spooky skies)! I love the chatter of what’s coming our way and what to expect. And 99% of the time, I know it’ll be a lot less than what…
Second week into my third third trimester. So far, I’ve liked and needed about the same thing for each pregnancy once I’m in the final stretch. I think almost everyone could agree that once you reach 26-27 weeks, you start to actually need certain things to help make you comfortable. If I could only pick one product to have during my third trimester, and just use everything else that I’d normally use outside of pregnancy for the other “problems” and “uncomfortableness” that comes with that last trimester, I’d choose my pregnancy pillow over and over…
When you’re pregnant with your second kiddo, it seems to be a pretty quick pregnancy. Well…I think the more you have the quicker it goes by for sure. I was so ready for my due dates with both of my girls, but I still feel like we won’t be prepared for a third when this little guy or gal enters our lives. I’m already 28 weeks and some change, so officially in the third trimester. I have no clue what it’s going to feel like being outnumbered by little demanding sergeants, running around, knocking things…
