Mom bashing. Judging. Secretly talking about someone behind their back. Someone isn’t raising their child like you (how could they!?). Bullying a mom you don’t know online. Making a mom feel like she’s unfit. You guys, this has to stop. And I’m not saying I’m innocent of doing this. Hallen (my first) was such an easy textbook baby. Everything was perfect, and I experienced everything I thought I should. So, naturally, I started judging all the moms around me who were making their kids cry it out, feeding them formula, letting them watch TV before…
What a way to start the New Year. I went to a New Year party by myself, while Kevin stayed home with the girls, because he was so sick. I felt awful for him. A couple days later, Hallen drank out of his cup, and I swear that’s how she got it. So, we’ve been doing nothing buy cleaning the house, washing our hands, sleeping, washing clothes, wiping noses, and decluttering the house in between all of the cleaning. Hopefully next week will be like a reset button on everyone’s health, and we can start the New…
I’ve always loved “thrifting.” Finding the treasures that are hidden amongst the rubble. I can remember one of my favorite activities growing up was going to yard sales when my grandmother came into town. We’d map them out the night before; looking through the yard sale section of the newspaper ( who remembers that?)…and circling the ones we’d want to get to first! It was like our treasure map. We didn’t know exactly what we were looking for, but we were destined to find something amazing!Well, 20+ years later, and I still like going to…
When Sevenly first reached out to me to see if I’d like to collaborate with them, I researched what they stood for just like I do with every company that I work with. I want to make sure we mesh; that we vibe; that our brands point towards the same thing. Well, they definitely did! I’m all for companies that give back or have a bigger meaning than just themselves. That’s how we’re supposed to live in this life, and I really value companies who work like that. It’s a big way to show that…
Here’s a short list of shops I’ve been lucky enough to work with or lucky enough to stumble upon and fall in love with! This past weekend, we went to a Christmas tree farm! Too early? Maybe for some…but we don’t actually go to get a tree. We go just to get in the Christmas spirit! Who doesn’t like to be around hundreds of trees?! And the farm was gorgeous. It was our first ever visit to Penland Farm, and we’re definitely going back. We walked around for a couple hours just enjoying the atmosphere and the crisp weather! Thank goodness for our JJ Cole Bundleme that was sent to us. Since we’re in the Carolinas, you never really…
It’s no surprise that I LOVE children’s clothing, toys, and cute little accessories you can adorn your children with ha! I figured I’d put together a few lists for you throughout November, and throw out a few codes for you to use to get discounts…because who doesn’t love a little discount?! These are all shops I truly love. I wouldn’t steer you in the wrong way. I know a lot of times, we get down to the last minute looking for fun items to give…well don’t waste any more time. You’re…
For me, Christmas is here. Like seriously. We’re putting our Christmas decorations up this Friday night. I have it scheduled in mine and Kevin’s synced calendar. It’s happening. If it’s warm, we may just have to blast the AC so we can turn the fireplace on. Don’t act like I’m crazy. I know you’re already jamming out to Christmas tunes in your minivan too. AND I don’t decorate for Halloween, so I have the decorating bug in me, ya know. It’s time.Something else I love about the holidays is eating…
