Spending the Summer in Beau and Belle Littles
I love reusable swim diapers! And they’re even better when they’re cute prints. Then they just double as a swim suit! I love how they’re adjustable and can grow with my babies too. Hallen is potty trained now, but Hazel is in them every week. We started swim lessons at Aqua Tots about 3 weeks ago, and they’re required to wear a reusable and non reusable swim diaper in their pools, so we’ve just been on rotation with our prints. And, I can happily tell you that we’ve had no accidents that have leaked in our Beau and Belle Littles!
I love to just throw a little tankini top on Hazel to coordinate with her swim diaper. We have the Sea Friends and the Flamingo prints for now. But I have a feeling we’ll be adding some more over the summer. We stay in the water during the hot and humid months here. Whether it’s the neighborhood pool or the water park at Carowinds…we’re staying wet! It’s the only way to survive the Carolina heat.
Have you guys tried reusable swim diapers before? Do you like them?
Before I had kids, I had no idea they existed! I just always assumed you bought the ones to throw away. But I think parenthood makes you become more informed about a lot of issues, right? We even cloth diapered for Hallen’s first 10 months. I feel like using a reusable swim diaper is a no brainer. It’s easy, cute, good for the environment, grows with your kids, and saves you money!
Hazel is 14 months and still has two snaps on each side to grow into. So that means, she’ll probably still have a little growing room even by the time she’s potty trained. And with as much as Hazel likes to be in water, I know we’ll get our use out of them over the next two years. If she could, she would probably be a mermaid. Although she still screams in swim lessons, any other water that comes her way, she dives head first!
And on top of creating an amazing swim diaper, Beau and Belle Littles gives back a portion of their profit to charity. I love companies like that. Those are the ones I want to support, because I know I’m buying more than a diaper. Part of my dollar helps those in need. How cool is it that a business says…hey…we do need this money, but we’re called to do more with it than put it in the bank…?! That right there gives them my full support! You can read more about them and how they started their company on their site. I think you’ll love them!
