The Waiting Game

Do you feel like the last month of your pregnancy was more like another trimester? That’s how I’m feeling right now! I feel like I’ve been 37 weeks pregnant since Thanksgiving! And I’ve been walking and squatting so much that my knees, hips, and back have become the equivalent of a 90 year old’s, I’m sure.

I can always count on Pink Blush Maternity to make me feel not 90, though! I figured this would be a great postpartum/nursing dress as well. I love it! And it’d been great for our 75 degree winter weather.

We also kept saying that we were going to do maternity photos sometime, but we still haven’t gotten around to it! So, these will have to do. Glad Kevin knows a thing or two about how to use a camera.

I definitely can’t complain about our weather and being full term at the same time. We’ve been able to get out an walk every single day (even though I’m still not progressing…maybe I should just nap instead), explore new parks, and go to our playground every day. I’m usually struggling to find indoor activities, because I don’t even want to step outside in February! We’ve even had to turn on our AC! How crazy is that?!

Enough about the weather though! You can check that out on your weather app. We’re also almost done with the nursery and girls’ playroom. I can’t wait to show you guys. After painting the playroom a couple weekends ago, we ended up painting one wall in the baby’s nursery the same color. The name of it is ‘sprinkle,’ so I couldn’t pass it up! I’m just not sure how to decorate with two different focal walls. If you have any tips, let me know! We have a big floral wall design on one wall behind the crib, which was going to be the focal wall, but we painted another wall the blue/teal color. Give me all your ideas please!
